Ward, a prominent citizen of Provo, died last uight from acute pneumonia, following 1 an illness of several months from throat ! trouble. .Mr. Ward was born in Nottingham, England, July -8, 1 842. He emigrated to Utah in J 802 and lived for a year at Salt Lake.- He then moved to Pleasant Grove and lived there until 1890, when he came to Provo and with his sons organized or-ganized the E...T. Ward & 8on3 company, of which he was the president at the i time of his death. M r. "W a r d i s survived by his wife, five daughters, four sons and twenty-nine twenty-nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Svmday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Sixth ward meeting house. 1
