Show Wei-Ak-AviClub Holds Annual Spring Tea Party The annual Spring Tea of the Cedar City Wei-Ak-Avi club was held Thursday in the L. D. S. Institute, with approximately 80 members and guests attending "the colorful affair. Beautiful spring flowers decorated dec-orated the room and tea tables fot the affair, which is the outstanding out-standing social event of the season sea-son for the ladies. During the tea. Mrs. Ed Southwick read the play, "Women", "Wo-men", written by Clare Booth !.uce. Also on the program were vocal numbers by a, mixed chorus chor-us from the high school under the direction of Mrs. Evelyn Haycock, Hay-cock, and a trio composed of Miss P.uth Corry. Mrs. Graham Mac-Donald Mac-Donald and Mrs. Wesley Mullett. Accompanist was Mrs. Virginia Larson. The general committee in charge of the affair was composed com-posed of Mrs. Kumen Jones, chairrrlan, Mrs. C. L. Beasley and Mrs. William Snow. They were assisted by Mrs. Wilson Lunt. Mrs. Arthur Jones, Mrs. Wilford Webster and Mrs. Stanley Brad-shaw. Brad-shaw. At the previous meeting of the club, the members attended the recent art exhibit in a group. Mrs. Kumen Jones was hostess to the group later for a luncheon at her home. |
