Show I Cedar City Master Singers Give Fine Performance Members of the Master Singers chorus put on another of their top performances Saturday eve- mg. when they appeared In roiicert in Cedar City before a iery appreciative audience. The all-male group, under the ,diiectlon of Reed Berrett. delight- ,ed the audience during the evening eve-ning with their rendition of such songs as "Hail Bright Abode" fiom Tannhauser, by Wagner; (Continued on beck page) Master Singers (Continued from front page) 'ThoU Art Repose", Schubert; ' Morning", Oley Speaks; "Pilgrim's "Pil-grim's Song", Tschaikowsky; "Lullaby", Brahms and "Battle Hymn of the Republic", Steffe. Also appearing on the program was the Master Singers' Quartet, and a ladies group. The Rainbow Rain-bow Chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Virginia Larson. The next engagement for the Master Singers will be on June 10, when they will appear in Las Vegas, Nev., under the sponsorship spon-sorship of the Elks lodge there. The concert will be out-of doors in the evening at Cashman sta-dium. sta-dium. I |
