Show Fanners Must Report I Wages Paid in '56 Farm operators who have paid as much as $100 in cash wages to any farm employee during the year 1956 should file an employer's em-ployer's tax and information return re-turn (form 943) for agricultural employees, Charles I. Fox District Dis-trict Director, Salt Lake City announced today. This tax return will be filed with the District Director of Internal Revenue, Salt Lake City, Utah, together with the social so-cial security taxes on the wages shown on the form. District Director Di-rector Fox emphasized that this annual report of wages paid for agricultural labor must be filed with the Internal Revenue Service Ser-vice before January 31, 1957. The return must show the name, social security number, and wages paid every employee whose cash wages from the same farmer amounted to $100 or more. Farmers, who must make these tax returns and have not received the proper forms should write the District Director of Internal Revenue, Salt Lake City, Utah, immediately in order to be sure of getting the report filed before January 31st, deadline, dead-line, Director Fox urged. |
