Show daughtet-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mead Whiting also visited in Og den Sunday ana curing the week. Airs. John Patrick left Monday for Redding, Calif., to visit her daughter and son-in-law J- I" and Marian Patrick and family including in-cluding a new 4-pound baby boy born Monday, at Redding. Mrs. Patrick planned to be gone about three weeks. Two Springville students, Boyd Hunter and Paul Mortensen are with the BYTJ band on a concert tour of Canada. The group planned plan-ned also to give concerts in Idaho and Wyoming during the tour. Boyd is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hunter and Paul is -a son ot Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Sir. and Mrs. Lionel Averett of Salt Lake City were among the out-of-town people in Springville Saturday evening to attend the annual an-nual Weight reunion. Mrs. Merlyn Dunford and daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Wood and another daughter Diane all of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Lula Mendenhall, coming to Springville also to attend the Weight reunion Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Averett of Delta, Colo., are spending a few days with Mr. Averett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Averett and other relatives and friends in Springville. Mrs. Grace McKenzie is spending this week in Ogden with her sister sis-ter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Whiting. Mr. Whiting is undergoing un-dergoing a Major operation and Mrs. McKenzie went to be with her sisters. The Whiting's son and Mrs. Clifford N. Taylor of Seattle, Wash., plans to leave for her home this week, following a visit with her daughter and son-m-law, Rev. and Mrs. Wilford Luce of Springviire and family including includ-ing a new baby daughter. Mrs. Taylor has been here about two weeks. Mrs. J. H. Donithorn of Alameda, Ala-meda, Colo., Jrormerly of Springville Spring-ville has returned to her home after af-ter spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Duane Bird (LaRue Donithorn) and their family including in-cluding a new baby boy born April 2, in Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Sanford and grandson Bruce Heath are spending a few days vacation in California. Enroute they planned to visit for a time with relatives in Elko, Nev., and in California will be guests of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brin-ton Brin-ton and family in San Francisco. They expect to visit Yosemite Park and other points of enterest en-route en-route home. |
