Show AAUW are Guests j At Art Gallery Tea One of the nicest social functions held here during the April art month was the tea Saturday afternoon after-noon from 3 until 6 p.m. at the art gallery for ladies of the American Am-erican Association of University Women, following their state convention con-vention held at the BYU, Provo. The tea table, covered with lace cloth over yellow, was centered with a most attractive Easter egg tree flanked on one side with pastel colored tapers in -banks of violets. Acting as hostesses were Springville Spring-ville members of the Provo branch. Mrs. Beverly Bird Clark and Mrs. Carol Condie Kreth poured. Serving Serv-ing was by Mrs. Teddy T. Seal, Mrs. Emma D. Gardner, Mrs. Leah H. Harrison and Mrs. Helen Campbell Camp-bell of Mapleton. Mrs. Mary Schwartz and Miss Helen Wheeler were general chairmen chair-men of arrangements for the function func-tion which was attended by approximately ap-proximately 125 former university student including out-of-state women wo-men who had come as guest speakers speak-ers to the state meet. |
