Nuptial Date Circled By Petcrson-Yhetten Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marlin Peterson of Orcm announce wedding wed-ding plans for their daughter, F.na Valcne Peterson, and John Carlos Whetten, Boy Scout Executive Exe-cutive in Cedar City. Mr. Whetten is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren E. Whetten of Roll, Ariz. The couple will be married May 2 in the Manti Temple. A reception is planned in their honor at Orem the same evening. An Open House will fete the couple in Moccasin, Ariz., on May 9. Miss Peterson is a graduate of Orem High School, where she was active as a member of the newspaper staff. For the past-three past-three years she has been employed em-ployed in Provo. Whetten is a graduate of Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University where he majored in Youth Leadership. He is presently Field Executive, Boy Scouts of America, in Cedar City. He fulfilley a mission for the LDS Church in the Spanish-American Spanish-American Mission.
