OCR Text	Show Leukemia Society Appoints Smoot Seaman Smoot Seaman has been appointed ap-pointed as city and area chairman chair-man for the Iron County chapter of the Utah Division of Leukemia Society, Inc., it was announced today. Three Iron County men, Francis Betenson, Dr. Royden C. Braith-waite Braith-waite of Cedar City and D. Watson Wat-son Adams, Parowan, jointly made the announcement. They are Iron County trustees for the Utah Society. They also announced that Governor Go-vernor George D. Clyde today, Thursday, signed a proclamation designating May 8 to 15 as of ficlally "Fight Leukemia We in Utah." Honorary national chairman of the Leukemia Society is Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
