Noted Authority To Discuss Smoking Issue Does cigarette smoking cause cancer? What is the relationship between be-tween cigarette smoking and heart disease? Is smoking more harmful to j women man men? The answers to these questions ques-tions and many others concerning concern-ing smoking and health will be discussed by Dr. Walter J. Bur-dette Bur-dette Saturday evening, Mav 2 at 8 p. m. in the Cedar High School Auditor'nm. Eveiyone Is welcome. There win be no charge for admission. The people of Cedar City and vicinity are very priviledged to hear Dr. Burdctte's lecture: "Smoking, "Smo-king, Contemporary Dilemma." He was selected as one of the ten distinguished scientists to make the year long study on Smoking and Health directed by the Surgeon General of the U. S. Public Health Service. He Is being be-ing brought to Cedar City by the combined community efforts of many organizations. Everyone should hear this authoritative and important discussion.
