Show TO GET RICH PHIZES . List Contains Almost Score; Half a Hundred ; Runners Entered. Seventeen prizes have been procured for winners in the annual cross-city marathon mara-thon of October. 21, to be held under the auspices of the Peseret gymnasium. First and second prizes will be transportation to Denver to enter the annual inter-mountain inter-mountain race there. Another prize which is winning the interest of musician-runners is eleventh prize, a ukulele. Fifty men are said to have sent in applications, ap-plications, and it is believed that more will enter the race. All the men are in training, according to word received by R. W. llichardsnn, Utah champion, who is promoting the event. Two of the hardest hard-est workers are Ted Johnson, Utah champion, cham-pion, and Al Warden, runner-up. Warden is desirous of winning first plai-e this year. Since the run was established in 1912 by the Sd.lt Iake Commercial club lie has entered every year, and has gradually grad-ually been creeping up nearer and nearer to 'first place. The past two years he has won second place, finishing just behind be-hind Johnson. The prizes, officials and course, as announced an-nounced by Richardson, are: Course Start at arch at Main and South Temple, run south to Broadway, east to State, south on Stale to Eleventh South, west on Eleventh to Main, up Main to arch.
