Show STANDARDIZATION TO BE IDAHO'S FEATURE POCATELLO, Idaho, Oct. 8. State Superintendent Su-perintendent of Public. Instruction Bernice McCoy has announced that November 29 ; has been designated as "Standardization i day" in the county schools. The purpose i of the movement is to raise the standards of efficiency through the co-operation of parents, pupils and teachers. Under the proposed plan, schools will be ra ted by county superintendents, 50 points being allowed on the teacher, 16 on the building, build-ing, 25 on equipment, 17 on grounds, 10 on community activities and 7 on attendance. In order to be rated as a standard school it must be credited with at least mo points. The programme for the day has been mailed to all of the county teachers in the state. |
