Show Parents Honor Newly Married Couple The home of Mrs. James H. Walker was the scene of a well arranged wedding party on Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, May 12, when Major Ma-jor and Mrs. Leo R. Walker of Garland Gar-land entertained in honor of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Rowberry, who were married earlier in the day in the Salt Lake LDS temple by President S'. L. Chipman. Games were in charge of Mrs. LeGrande Walker of Ogden and Mrs. Orville Larson of Kaysville, after which a delicious tray luncheon lun-cheon was served to 35 to 40 relatives rela-tives and close friends. -I Many beautiful and useful gifts were received by the young couple. Relatives and friends present included in-cluded Major and Mrs. Leo R. Walker, Mrs. J. H. Walker, Mrs. J. W. Thorne, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Rowberry of Tooele, Miss Zetta Rowberry, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rowberry Row-berry of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Gogarty of Springville, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Welcher and daughter Delia Jean, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Moyle of Magna, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Larson of Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Walker and Miss Emma Walker of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Syoberg and Mr. and Mrs. Sid Cullimore of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thome, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Walker, Leo A., Keith and Ben Walker, all of Pleasant Grove. The charming young bride formerly for-merly Miss Geraldine Walker, is a graduate of the Bear River high school and a student at US AC where she was popular in music and other activities. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Rowberry of Tooele, and he too is a former student of US AC. The young people left immediately for Tooele where they will make their home. |
