GARY WHITNEY Gary Whitney claims Miss Glenda Sparks as bride in St. George Temple ceremony with pink crepe skirts. They carried bouquets of daisies. Best man was Douglas W. Orton, and the ushering was done by Richard Park, John Harmon, and Fred Adam. Mrs. Sparks wore a street length dress of pale pink double knit with a rolled neck with beaded trim and sheer sleeves. Mrs. Whitney's pale pink dress was also street length but of bonded cotton with applique and beaded trim down the sheer sleeves. Their corsages were made of cranberry rosebuds and pink carnations. Acting as greeters at the door at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Bossard, Cedar and Mr. and Mrs. James Cook, Nephi. The bride chose to wear a one-piece culotte for her going go-ing away costume. It was a double knit, flowered print on a purple background. The young couple honey-mooned honey-mooned in Southern California Californ-ia (Disneyland and other points of interest) for a week. They will make their home in Cedar City where both plan to continue their schooling at SUSC. That evening the bridal party traveled to Nephi where the nevvlyweds were honored at a reception in the Juab Stake Center. The bride wore a dres.s of Silganza, underscored in Nite Lite Crepe. It was trimmed in bands of lace insertion and polyester daisies. A Mantilla completed the wedding ensemble. en-semble. She carried a bouquet of pink and cranberry rosebuds rose-buds centered by a white orchid. or-chid. Sharing the spotlight as matrons of honor were the bride's sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Park and Mrs. Connie Harmon, Har-mon, The bridesmaids were Misses Pat Thomas, Sydnee Morgan, Renae Truscott, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Stowell and Lynn Johnson. John-son. Flower girls were Misses Angie and Kellie Harmon, twin neices of the bride. The attendants wore long dresses featuring empire waistlines. The bodices were of cranberry crushed velvet |
