Representative of the Southern Utah State College Latter-day Saint Student Stu-dent Association pause at recent conference held in Salt Lake City in connection with Church June Conference. SUSC well represented at annual International LDSSA Conference ident; Rick Armstrong, Men's vice president; Pam Hunter, Women's vice president; Colleen Col-leen Sandberg, secretary and Gilbert Hull, advisor. Also attending was Don Jex representing Delta Phi Kappa. Lambda . Delta Sigma, church, sorority and Sigma Gamma Chi,, church fraternity fraterni-ty held conventions also and were represented by Sherri Graf, Ginger DeLaMar, Ruth Humpheries, Jerri Schow and Roxene MacAllister. - Caryle Gurr represented Sigma Gamma Gam-ma Chi. i , . -Southern Utah State College - was well represented at the annual International Conference Confer-ence of the Latter-Day Saint Student Association held June ,24-27 in Salt Lake City. The Association conference .was held in conjunction with jMlA June Conference of the IChurch, although seperate Sessions were conducted for ,the LDSSA officers and advisors. ad-visors. The conference drew representatives repre-sentatives from as far away s England, South America :nd most regions of the United Un-ited States and Canada. General Gen-eral sessions of the conference were keynoted by the International Inter-national President of the LDS-;SA, LDS-;SA, Elder Marion D. Hanks bf the First Council of Seventy Seven-ty of the LDS Church, i The LDSSA was set up to serve as a correlating agency for LDS organizations on college col-lege campuses and many 'workshops were conducted to .assist officers and advisors to abetter meet the needs of the ;LDS students on campus. Delegates, to the conference vheard from such qualified I people as Dr. Dallin Oaks, new president of Brigham .'Young University; Pres. Harold Har-old B. Lee of the First Presidency; Presi-dency; Elder Spencer W. Kimball, acting president of . the Quorum of Twelve Apostles Apost-les and Elder Boyd K.
