Show Albert Lawrence to celebrate 98th birthday I Albert his two brothers still living, Thomas Lawrence in Cedar City and Wilford Lawrence in Summit. The Lawrences have one daughter, Julia Ann L. Hayes living in Bountiful and two sons John Thomas and. William Lloyd. Sunday will likely seem a little different from other Sunday's Sun-day's for Albert T. (Bert) Law-rence Law-rence as he walks across the busy highway in Summit to attend Sunday School and Sacrament meeting. I However, a number of friends will remember that Mr. Lawrence will, on July 4, be celebrating his birthday and will be on hand to wish him well. It will be his 98th birthday. He has always enjoyed en-joyed combining his birthday celebration with that of Independence Inde-pendence Day. ii if is i i , ffif & mJ pi - m ALBERT T. LAWRENCE - Mr. Lawrence still has remarkable re-markable strength. He occasionally occa-sionally chops wood, hoes weeds, shovels snow and prepares pre-pares his own meals. "His handshake is firm. When he finds that he' is a little slower going up or down steps, he merely exclaims "mmm....old age must be crawling upon me." Those who should offer to help him would have him likely quote his father as saying, "A little help is worth a whole pile of pitty." Mr. Lawrence was born in Hereford, Herefordshire, England En-gland July 4, 1873. He with his parents, eight brothers and one sister were all converts con-verts to tho LDS Church and all migrated to Utah. His wife, Boll Petty Lawrence, Lawr-ence, is living in the County I Rest Home in Parowan. |
