Show SPORTSMEN PLAN MAJOR EVENTS HERE Three major events are planned to usher in and celebrate National Wildlife Week in Springville, announces an-nounces President Reed Rigtrup of the local fish and game association. associ-ation. On Saturday, March 18, beginning begin-ning at 8 p. m., in the art building, build-ing, the general public is invited to attend a meeting sponsored by the sportsmen, in which Lee Kay of the educational department of the state fish and game commission, commis-sion, will show pictures of big game and also of the recent Green river trip in which a local sportsman sports-man participated. Other state game officials are expected to attend. at-tend. This meeting will usher in activities ac-tivities of the following week, March 19 to 25, known as National Wild Life Week throughout the United States. On Tuesday, March 21, a wild life picture is being shown at the local theater, and climaxing the week will be a big dance on Saturday Sat-urday night, at Memorial hall. This affair is expected to be one of the big social events of the season, sea-son, and the sportsmen are being assisted with general plans for the affair by the Legion. |
