Show ! Local The Fourth ward M. I. A. are ; sponsoring a St. Patrick's program and dance next Tuesday, in the ; ward hall. The theme will be j "An Evening With the Irish," and j many fine numbers have been, ar- ranged for the occasion. It is a ; budget event and all ward members mem-bers are urgently requested to attend at-tend the program which will feature fea-ture the M. I. A. meeting and later enjoy the dance. No ad-i ad-i mittance will be charged ward: members but all wi'll be admitted ; on "the wearing of the green." j C. V. Hansen of Provo gave an especially interesting talk on the "Coming Forth of the Book of Mormon," in the First ward adult , M. I. A. class under the leadership of J. W. Olsen, Tuesday evening. His talk (was supplemented by colored pictures. Mr. Hansen also gave illustrated talks to students of the seminary directed by Mr. Olsen and Ray Colton Tuesday. PROVO, Utah (Special to the Spring-ville Herald) Richard Loveridge of Springville has been made a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, national professional commerce com-merce fraternity, at Brigham Young university. The fraternity selects it's mem-hers mem-hers from male students in the college of commerce. The purpose of the organization is to foster studies in commerce, encourage scholarship, and promote association associa-tion between members, and the commercial world. . . I |
