Show W. W. HARRISON SERVICES HELD Funeral services were held in the Fourth ward chapel Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon for Willie White Harrison, 65, highly respected and well known resident of this city, who died Monday, following a long illness, at the family residence, resi-dence, Third North and Third East street. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of A. Y. Wheeler mortuary. Mr. Harrison was born in Springville, February 3, 1874, a son of George and Rosella White Harrison, early pioneers. He has made his home here always. From April, 18!)8 to October, 1000, he served in the eastern stales and New Brunswick L. D. S. missions. He was for a number num-ber of years, in the Fourth ward Sunday school superintendency. Only about a month ago, he resigned re-signed his position as Fourth ward clerk which he had held 23 years. He has also been active in civic affairs of Springville, having ser-, ved three terms as city recorder. He married Myrtle Hall, Marth 12, 1002, in the Salt Lake temple. He is survived b; his widow and three children, Mrs. Florence Akker of Eureka; Carroll and Willie Harrison of Springvillc; eight grandchildren and five brothers and sisters, George W., and H. W. Harrison, and Mrs. Mae H. Smith of Springville; Mrs. Villa Storrs of American Fork and Mrs. Gertrude Packard of Salt Lake City. |
