Show 9oka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Brothers Return To Various Posts Elmer Lemon left Monday for Camp Roberts, Calif., where he is stationed with the Army, and Keith Lemon returned to Logan Friday to resume studies at the U, S A C. Both boys had spent the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Elizabeth Gentry returned to Salt Lake Wednesday, after a 10-day visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival and son, Evan, shopped and visited in Roosevelt .Thursday. Virgil Ferguson arrived last week- from Montana, where he had gone to spend the holidays with his parents. Mrs. Lloyd Jensen, who has been very ill in the Roosevelt Hospital for some time, was taken to Salt Lake City Thursday. Thurs-day. ' Willis Dart is spending a few days in Salt Lake visiting his sisters. Ioka has had six days of very cold weather. The thermometer registered 10 below zero as a maximum and as low as 28 below. be-low. (Late For Last Week) Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spencer Spen-cer spent the Christmas holiday holi-day with relatives in Levan. Mr. and Mrs. Chas Percival and son, Evan, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken, of Roosevelt, on Christmas Day Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay and children spent Christmas Day in Altonah." Mr; and Mrs. W. G. Gentry entertained at a family, dinner on Christmas. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry and daughter, Lavene, of Myton; Elizabeth Gentry, of Salt. Lake, and Tom Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rickv, of Teton, Idaho, visited Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon recently. Mrs. Olive Sorenson and son, Dean, called on Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett, of Upalco, on Christmas Day. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon on Christmas were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lemon, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lemon and Keith Lemon. Boyd is stationed at Cheyenne, Wyoming, with the armed forces; Elmer is at Camp Roberts, Calif.; and Keith is a student at U S A C, Logan. Mrs. Tom Gentry and children returned from California Friday, after a 10-day visit there with Mrs. Gentry's mother. Mrs. John Brice. Bruce Calder, of Magna visited vis-ited recently at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Garrett .Stone. . Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman and children, of Mt. Emmons were dinner guests of Mrs. Hartmah's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Redmund and children, of Duchesne, spent Sunday afternoon with Bertha Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon and family, of Vernal, were guests og Mrs. Lemon's parents Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd, last week end. John Fausett came from San Diego, Calif., Monday to spend the holidays with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett. John is stationed in San Diego for his boot training with the Navy. - Howard Lloyd and Keith Lemon returned to Logan Friday, Fri-day, where they are enrolled at the U S A C. Mrs. Vernor Baird and daughter, daugh-ter, Andra, of Heber. spent New Year's with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Garn Lloyd. Andra returned to Heber, He-ber, Wednesday, while Mrs. Baird remained to make an extended ex-tended visit. |
