Show 83 Civil Cases In District Court; Ten In Criminal During 1951, 83 civil actions were filed in the District Court at Duchesne. This is 14 more cases than the 69 filed during 1950. In the probate division of the District Court, 8 fewer probate matters were filed during 1951 than in 1950. In 1950. 37 probate pro-bate cases were filed, compared with 29 for 1951. Ten criminal cases were filed in the court in Duchesne County this past year. Charges included a third degree burgulary. forgery, forg-ery, drunken driving, non-support of lawful children, theft of a sheep, rape, theft of alfalfa seed, forgery, fraudulent checks, public intoxication and resisting srrcst Nine criminal suits were filed in 1950, including charges of fraudulent checks, lewdness, first and second degree burgulary, burgul-ary, failure to provide, theft of household furniture, and sale of intoxicating liquor to an Indian. |
