Show Onion And Uintah Win Openers; flex! Gaines Friday Union and Uintah High Schools last night took over the leadership in the Basin division of Region Five as they came through in the season's openers with impressive wins over Duchesne Du-chesne and Altamont. Uni&n beat Duchesne 38-15, and the Utes downed the Longhorns 67-34. 67-34. After a tight defensive contest, con-test, the first half of which ended end-ed 11-6 for the Cougars.
