Show CHRISTINE SOPHIE TAYLOR LAPOINT Funeral services were conducted in the Lapoint L D S Ward chapel on Jan. 3 for Mrs. Christine Sophie Taylor, Tay-lor, 81, who died Dec. 30 at her home, after a short illness. Services Ser-vices were conducted by Jerry Harrison, member of the ward bishopric. Speakers at the services were Jerry Harrison, Hyrum Sowards and Wallace Johnson. Musical numbers were as follows: "I Need Thee Every Hour," mixed quartet; duet, "Oh, My Fattier," Mr. and- Mrs. Rex Taylor; solo, "Rocking Alone." She was born June 19, 1869 in Nuremberg, Germany, a daughter of Rudolph and Catherine Cath-erine Pabst Hohne. She came to the United States as a young girl and finished her high school education here. She was married to Charles Taylor in 1900 and they moved to Lapoint in 1907 when it was opened to settlement. Survivors include her husband and four sons, Charles R., Arthur Ar-thur H., and Harvey R. Taylor, all of Lapoint, and Lloyd Taylor, Tay-lor, Vernal; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Lapoint cemetery, under the direction of the Vernal mortuary. |
