Show ARiSTDGRATIG GATS Columbia Friar, Persian, Is Voted First Honors at Pet Stock Show. J " "Columbia Friar," a white Persian male, property of Mrs. Delana William- 1 son, yesterday was given the special 1 award as the best cat at the T'tah Breed -, ers' and Pet Stock association show, being' be-ing' held all this week at 37 West Second South street. The special award for the best display of cats was won hy H. A. Hasbrouk. Saturday will be Bales- day, though already al-ready several salrs of fowls and animals have been reported. X. J. Thom;is of Salt Lake yesterday sold a pair of turbit pigeons for ls and two pairs of satintte birds were sold by J. Dietz of Salt .Lake for $20 and $J2.50. Mr. Thomas has seventy-five pigeons displayed, among them being practically all the western champions and grand champions and first prize birds of the Panama -Pacific exposition. Ji Pigeons and rahbits valued at $100 are Anot uncommon at the show. An imported Jf New Zealand buck, property of F. U. Gordy of Salt Lake; a Flemish giant doe, weighing thirteen pounds and 5 ounces, of W. C. Shipley of Salt Lake, and several sev-eral bucks of J. Reid of Salt Lake are among the moat valuable animals exhibited. ex-hibited. Cream Persians "Kathleen," first award, Miss Craig. White Persians "Columbia Friar," first senior male, and "Sego Lily," first senior female, Mrs. Delana Williamson; "General Scott." first junior male. Miss Helen Daley; "Boots;" first junior female, Mrs. H. F. Falkenstein. Shaded silver Persians "Silver Jim," first junior male. R. A. Hashrouk. Gray tabby "Kim," first male, Mrs. C. S. Kinney.
