Show RECRUITING AGENT SEEKS MORE MEN Engineers and Others Desired in. Specialized Branches of TJ. S. Army Service. The local army recruiting station is in receipt of Instructions from Adjutant General W. T. Bates, directing the acceptance ac-ceptance for engineer organizations of physically qualified applicants, and designating desig-nating the military posts to whieh they are to be sent to join their respective regiments. Among the regiments being recruited are those of forestry, highways, supply ; and shop, general construction, water supply, sup-ply, quarry, mining, gas and flame, auxiliary aux-iliary forestry, provisional railway reinforcement re-inforcement regiment, provisional pioneer reinforcement regiment, limousine company, com-pany, all-weather car company, tour car company and two motorcycle companies. It is specified that the men for the gas and flame regiment should be sturdy, strong and of a determined type. A technical tech-nical education is unnecessary, because the regimen t will noi be encazed in the ma nu fact ure of chemical compounds. It will he essential I. - a fighting unit.
