Show DRAMATIC TRIO COMIIiG TO U THEATER A new and wholly different type of theater is coming to Utah. It will be the production of "John Brown's Body" by Stephen Vincent Benet. Cast will be Tyrone Power, Raymond Ray-mond Massey and Judith Anderson, Ander-son, together with the Walter Schumann Choral Group of 20. Dates for the performances are November 12, 13, 14 and 15 with matinees on Nov. 14 and 15 at 2:30. Because the University of Utah Theater has arranged all six per- formances as one of its seven season sea-son attractions, it has been able to offer the show at record low prices. Tickets are only $1.50 and $2.00 for any of the six performances. They are on sale by mail order or at Kingsbury Hall or Glen Bros. Music Company box offices, according ac-cording to Gail Plummer, manager. Adapted and staged by te fabulous fab-ulous Charles Laughton, "John Brown's Body" is a complete departure de-parture from the bizarre and anti-sented anti-sented in an evoluionary manner quated stage production and is pre-whch pre-whch keeps one breathless, in suspense, amused, entertained and exhilarated. It is a great tapestry of glory and fire and human tenderness, tend-erness, rich with the heritage and history uf our beloved country. |
