Show EMC SCHOOL'S FLOWER SHOW HELD SUCCESS East Mill Creek elementary school's flower show held on October Oc-tober 16 was acclaimed a huge success with approximately 650 floral displays being contributed by the pupils and teachers, according to Paul S. Worthen, principal. A lily pond surrounded by a rock garden was the center motif, banked with the multi-colored floral displays. Each teacher's room was also adorned with colorful color-ful bouquets. Musical numbers were furnished by a quartette consisting of Alice Swensen, Shirley Porath, Helen Russell, and Robin Gray with Dorothea Dor-othea Swensen as accompanist. Mr. Worthen introduced the faculty fac-ulty members, after which emphasis em-phasis was placed on getting acquainted with the new Parent-Teacher Parent-Teacher Association officers and committee chairmen.
