Show Turkey Prizes SLOGAN SCRIBE HAS CHAfiCE TO WIN BIRD Twelve lucky or talented people will each receive a turkey weighing more than 20 pounds as prizes in a contest sponsored by the Sugar House chamber of commerce in connection con-nection with Turkey Days. To enter the contest, all that is necessary is to finish the statement, "I like to shop in Sugar House because . . ." in 25 words or less. All entries should be sent to the Sugar House chamber of commerce, Post Office Box 73, Sugar House Station. There will be four separate and distinct contests. The first will close Thursday, November 6, the second, Friday November 7 the third, Saturday November Novem-ber 8, the fourth and last, Monday, Mon-day, November 10. Deadline each day is noon. Three prize turkeys will be awarded each day to the authors of of the best entries. It is not necessary to live in Sugar House to compete, and each contestant may send in as many entries as he wishes. Winners will be announced as soon as possible after each daily deadline. Three Sugar House people will act as judges. Their decision de-cision will be final. |
