Show VICE CHAIRMEN NAMED TO C OF C GROUPS Vice chairmen of the seven standing committees of the Sugar House chamber of commerce were named this week, and chairmen of the committees called meetings of their members. Mrs. Frankie N. Nielson named Holger N. Larson, vice chairman of the program and publicity committee, com-mittee, and held a meeting of committee com-mittee members last Friday afternoon after-noon at Beau Brummel cafe. Ray D. Free was named chairman chair-man on parking. Chairman Neu-man Neu-man C. Petty scheduled a committee commit-tee meeting for Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 p. m. at Petty Motor Co. New vice chairmen of the business busi-ness development group is Grant Midgley. Chairman V. W. Mackay will preside at a meeting of his committee Wednesday, November 5, at 2 p. m. in the Sugar House branch of Walker Bank. Stephen C. Richards chose Walter Wal-ter O. Peterson as vice chairman of the membership committee, which wiii meet Monday, November Novem-ber 10, at 7 p. m. at Granite Furniture Fur-niture Co. First meeting of the public affairs af-fairs committee will be Monday, November 10, at noon in Beau Brummel cafe, with Chairman John C. Barnes and new Vice Chairman Horace A. Sorensen officiating. November 4, the retail trades committee will meet at noon at Beau Brummel. Chairman S. Morgan Mor-gan Sorensen has chosen Leon L. Halversen as his vice chairman. Chairman Neisen R. Bank and Vice Chairman Paul R. Sigsbee will guide the work of the finance committee, which will meet for the first time Friday, November 7, at 10:30 a. m. at Bank's Jewelry store. |
