Show GRANITIAH IIS YEARBOOK (STINS PLAUDITS Granite high school's 1951-52 year book, the "Grantian," has oeen awarded Columbia Scholastic Press association's highest rating that of "medalist," according to Miss Nell Madsen, faculty sponsor. Theme for the book was "Gra-nitians "Gra-nitians Salt of the Earth." The rating was awarded on or-ginality, or-ginality, ideas, art, copy and photography. pho-tography. Edith Ann Schaelling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Schaelling, 1919 Longview Drive, and Connie Showell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Showell, 2868 Fillmore St., were editor and associate asso-ciate editor, respectively.
