Show I commission chairman, "is on tho ball and will carry this tiling through," Mr. Petty said. The widening will allow traffic to move at a normal city clip, it was pointed out, as it was added that the street as is is one of the worst traffic bottlenecks in Salt j Lake valley. ROTARY LUNCH FETES S. H. STREET ftlE-ES Sugar House Rotarians honored the property owners on the south side of 21 South street this week at the regular noon luncheon of the club. Charles Petty, streets chairman of the Sugar House chamber c." commerce, was in charge of presenting pre-senting the guests. Only last week, the chamber with the help of most of the property owners, obtained options on all but one parcel of the ground fronting the traffic bottleneck street. These options, which don't expire ex-pire until December 31, will turn 12 feet of property over to the state which, in turn, will widen the thoroughfare, replacing curb, gutter and sidewalk, and doing a completely new surfacing job of the street between 11th East and 13th East.
