Show PARTIAL BAH OH PARKING TO BE ASKED As the November 1 deadline neared on the parking ban on 21st South between 11th and 13th East streets, the property owners and businessmen of the two block district, dis-trict, voted last Wednesday to ask the city commission to restrict parking on the street from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 4:30 to 7 p.m. each "day, beginning November Novem-ber 1. The recommendation will be made in letter form at the regular meeting of the city commission tomorrow to-morrow morning, by Sugar House Chamber of Commerce President Vern W. Mackey. Captain C. A. Youngberg and Frank Whitworth of the Salt Lake traffice commission were present at the meeting to answer questions, ques-tions, but left before the official vote was taken. The meeting was called by the chamber board of directors because be-cause of the controversy raised when the city fathers directed that parking be banned on 21st South between 11th and 13th East from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. |
