Show Margaret Kopp, Alden L. Betts tie nuptial knot Now making their home in Salt Lake City are Mr. and Mrs. Aiden L Betts. The bride is Miss Margaret Kopp, formerly of Cedar City. The wedding was solemnized Dec. 21 in the St. George LDS Temple with President Theron Ashcroft officiating at the single ring ceremony. That evening the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception held in their honor in the Cedar Ce-dar First Ward. The bride wore a white cotton cot-ton eyelet shirtwaist gown with a nylon veil-scarf held by a triangle design of pears on the forehead. She carried a bouquet of white button mums centered by a white orchid. Acting as hosts and hostesses for the evening were Bishop and Mrs. Gary Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Knell. Presiding at the guest book were Doris Esplin and Alice Alexander, while Karla Hulet helped with the gifts. Refreshments were served by members of the Cedar First Ward Relief Society. An open house in the Granger Grang-er 12th Ward was also held to fete the new Mr. and Mrs. Betts. They spent a week honeymooning honeymoon-ing in Southern California. The bride is a graduate of Cedar High and SUSC. She was a member of the Cedar Business Busi-ness and Professional Women's Club and active in various capacities cap-acities In the auxiliaries of the Church. She most recently served serv-ed as Cedar Stake Laurel Leader Lead-er and music conductor of the Cedar First Ward Sunday School. She formerly served as medical med-ical secretary at the Brown Clinic In Cedar and is presently present-ly employed as a secretary at the University Hospital Credit Department in Salt Lake. Mr. Betts graduated from John Francis Polytechnical Hih School in Los Angeles and from Los Angeles City College. He works in Sales Management. Manage-ment. He is active in the LDS Church and is presently serving serv-ing in the Sunday School Presidency Pres-idency of the Granger 12th Ward. Prior to the wedding the bride was honored at showers given by Ardelle Hansen and LaJean Knell and by Ada Carpenter, Car-penter, Neola Brown and Karla Hulet. |
