The game is the first of ar eiht game schedule that SUSC will play. With the abundance of speed and ability on the team, Coach Katheryn Berg Is looking forward for-ward to one of the better seasons sea-sons for an SUSC women's team. Because of the team's quickness quick-ness and depth In the guard line, the fast -break offense is one of their major weapons. The team can not only defend against fast-break, though, because be-cause they also possess fine perimeter shooters. A talented threesome make up the back court for the T-Birds. T-Birds. Freshmen Cheryl Eraud and Tona Lytle and sophomore Shelly Adair from Elko, Nev., all share the duties of directing direct-ing play. SUSC also has four fine forwards for-wards in Pattie Pead, Orem; Kim Heppler, St. George; Ginger Ging-er Webster, Las Vegas, Nev., and Madeline Sahneyah, Tuba City, Ariz. The first three all lettered on last year's team while Madeline is new to the squad. Diana Wise, Springerville, Ariz., and Debbie MacBeth, Tooele, also letterees from last season, will both play at the center position.
