Show Tvlichelle Dverson named Snow ueen house. The women's intercollegiate intercol-legiate basketball team will play Dixie in a 7 p.m. Friday In the Fieldhouse. SUSC will meet Snow, Weber State College, Col-lege, and Northern Arizona in a wrestling tournament Sat-urday Sat-urday at 10:30 a.m. Michelle Iverson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Iverson, Fillmore, was named queen of Snow Week activities at Southern Utah State College Monday night. Miss Iverson was sponsored' in the contest by the Behav-' Behav-' ioral Science Club. She is a : sophomore majoring in music. She plans to receive a Bachelor's Bach-elor's and Master's degree in ( Music Education. ' For her talent, Miss Iverson ' sang a medley of songs from ' "My Fair Lady." She has be-' be-' come well known on the SUSC campus and throughout south. em Utah as a vocalist. In 1971 she toured Europe with the Young Americans entertainment entertain-ment group. Named as first 'attendant to Miss Iverson was Sheri Tuck-ett, Tuck-ett, drama club representative She is a sophomore student from Spanish Fork. Second at-tendant at-tendant is Debbie Dehlin, Las Vegas, Nev. She is a freshman majoring In business. Mary Ronnow a sophomore Art History major from St. i George was chosen as Miss Poise by the panel of judges. Janet Taylor, Provo, was elected elec-ted as Miss Cangeniality by the contestants. She is a soph omore majoring in Dance. The contestants also chose PattI Craig, a sophomore drama major from New Jersey as Miss Personality. Judges for the contest were Dick Williams, Frank Petty, Mrs. Richard Wlnterrose and MrsGil Limb. 'Musical numbers were pre-sented pre-sented by Dee Pace, Spanish Fork, Julie Stringham, Salt Lake City, and Maureen By-lund, By-lund, West Point, Weber Coun-ty, Coun-ty, who was 1973 Snow Queen Miss Bylund crowned the new queen. A string quartet composed of Lee Peterson, Kathy Cowan, LuAnn Judd and Susan Spencer, Spen-cer, all from Cedar City, provided pro-vided background music for the pageant. Professor David Lee of the SUSC English Department was master of ceremonies. Frances Cook, Bountiful, was pageant chairman. Stev Chatterley, Cedar City, is chairman of Snow Week Activities. Ac-tivities. Events for Friday and Saturday will include the Snow Ball Friday night in the large ballroom of the SUSC Student Center and a varsity basketball game against Regis Saturday night in the Field- . is W SNOW QUEEN.
