Show Heyvoods receive mission call Mr. and Mrs. James Heywood of Cedar City have received a call from the Church cf Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve on a mission. The active Cedar City couple have been assigned to the Nau-voo Nau-voo Mission in Illinois and are scheduled to enter the mission home in- Salt Lake City February Feb-ruary 2. They are members of the Cedar Tenth Ward. Heywood was recently released re-leased from the Cedar Stake Presidency where he served for 13 years. P:ior to that time he was a member of the Cedar Stake Hi:jh Council and served as Bishop of the Cedar Fifth Ward for Eight years. He has owned and operated Lunt-Heywood Tire Company In Cedar City for 25 years. The firm was phased out at the end of the 1973 year and he is president of the Rolling Rubber Rub-ber Co. In addition to his church activities act-ivities he has been active in community affairs. He is a member of the Cedar City Rotary Ro-tary Club and served as the organization's or-ganization's president. He served serv-ed a four year term on the Cedar City Council and he has served as chairman of the Iron County Division cf Family Services Ser-vices and on the county committee com-mittee on Aging. Mrs. Heywood has served as president of two Relief Society Organizations and taught for 30 years in the ML. A master teacher she is currently serving as Teacher Development leader in the Tenth Ward.
