Show City Schools Again Victims Of Robbery Attempts Prowlers were busy in Preston early Tuesday evening but their net take as far as can be determined, according to David Davis, investigating investi-gating officer, was only seven cents in 'cash and a couple of foun. tain pens. The attempting thieves tried to break into the Cache Valley Commission Com-mission company but passing cars and people walking past the from and rear of the building scared them away and as a result they did not gain entrance to the building. They also broke into the Preston Junior and Senior High school buildings. How they gained entrance en-trance into the high school is a mystery. Aocording to reports they either stayed in the building after the custodians had locked up or 3lse they had a key for one of the loors. They broke out windows to sain entrance into the principal and superintendent's office. . In gaining entrance to the Jef-l'er4m Jef-l'er4m they took the screen off of the south window and climbed through the window. They broke out several windows in the Jeffer son building in gaining entrance from one room into another but finding nothing they apparently hurriedly left. Officers have secured several good fingerprints but as yet they have not had time to check them with the suspects. They expect to do it within the coming week. |
