Show Former Weston Girl To Wed Nesv York Man Mr. and Mrs. Martin Olson of Weston have announced the engagement en-gagement and impending marriage of' their daughter Dagna, of Salt Lake City, Utah, to Leon Wheatley of New York City, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Wheatley of Robin, Idaho, At the present c;me Digna is visiting here at the home of her parents and will leave on Friday for New York City where the marriage mar-riage will take place October 4, in New York. The young coiiple will reside at GSU2, 101 street, Forest. Hills. Long Island. Mr. Wheatlcj is a graduate of the Northwestern university at Evanston, Illinois. Miss Olson has been employed for several years in Salt Lake City. Tuesday evening Miss Olson was honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. Margaret Platts and Mrs. Emily Nelson at their home in Salt Lake City. Wednesday evening Mrs. Dell Garff and Miss Fern Bromley also entertained in her honor. On Sunday afternoon Mrs. Martin Olson entertained at her home in Wei tun in honor of her daughter, Dagna. About 76 people called between the hours of two and sev. en p. m. Mrs. Olson and her daughter daugh-ter were assisted by Mrs. Carmilla Evans of Robin, Mrs. Carmen Garff of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Essa Olson of Weston. A beautiful trous. seau was displayed and the bride-to-be was the recipient of many lovely gifts and the well wishes of her friends. |
