Show SOCIETY Peggy Oldroyd, Society Reporter STEAK FRY The power plant park in Uinta Uin-ta canyon was the scene of gay festivities Wednesday evening, July 19, when a group of enthusiasts en-thusiasts gathered for a steak fry. A no-host affair, twenty-seven guests participated in the fun: Carl Johnstun, Loya Benson, Gary Curtis, Charlene Bellon, Louise Mahner, Reta Hutcheon, Arvin Bellon, Bonnie White, Maurine Gilbert, Renae Gilbert, Peggy Oldroyd, Merlyn Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Howard Moffitt, Florence Percival, Desiree Spencer, Virginia Vir-ginia Burton, Dick Owen, Jack Harmston, Lorraine Hullinger, Joyce Rogers, Jack Bacon, Jim Cusater, Freddie Dillard, Paul Beardahl and Max Mullins. JUST-A-MERE A delicious dessert supper and an evening of bridge were featured when Mrs. Lola Rich-ins Rich-ins was hostess to members of her club, last Thursday at her home. Twelve guests enjoyed the evening's diversion. Prizes were won by Mrs. Ted Jensen, Mrs. Grant Killian, Mrs. Tom White, and Mrs. Farrell Wilkins. TUESDAY BRIDGE The cool breezes of Uinta canyon are luring party goers these warm days. Latest to enjoy en-joy the canyon's inviting atmosphere atmos-phere were members of the Tuesday Bridge club, who gathered gath-ered at the Harmston cabin on July 18 to enjoy an evening of cards and a delightful buffet supper planned by Mrs. Wayne Malin and Mrs. Gordon Harmston, Harm-ston, co-hostesses. Four tables of bridge were at play during t h e evening. Prizes were won by Mrs. Howard How-ard Harrison, Mrs. Paul Wilkins Wil-kins and Mrs. Ray Jordan. Mrs. Ray Jordan, Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. Afton Harrison, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Mrs. Bob Huish, Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Glenn Wyler and Mrs. Vean Bair remained in the canyon can-yon overnight and were guests of Mrs. Malin and Mrs. Harmston Harm-ston at a tempting breakfast Wednesday morning, and at a chicken dinner in the early afternoon. af-ternoon. Emmons, to Garn Lloyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, of Ioka. A definite date for the wedding wed-ding has not been set. NEIGHBORHOOD SEVING Charming hospitality prevailed prevail-ed at the Frank Yack residence Wednesday evening, July 19. when Mrs. 'Yack entertained members of the Neighborhood Sewing club. Eight guests enjoyed a prettily pret-tily appointed dessert luncheon and sewing. LADIES FISH and GAME Deviating from the usual, members of the Ladies Fish and Game club convened Friday evening, eve-ning, July 21, at Hansen's trout lake to enjoy an evening of games and a delicious barbecued supper.
