Senate in the September Sep-tember primary, during a short stop-off speech Saturday in Roosevelt. Mr. Clegg said: "Reclamation is the very lifeblood of the State of Utah. The future development de-velopment of a great inland empire em-pire is dependent upon the development de-velopment of the Central Utah project. "If elected to the U. S. Senate, Sen-ate, I'm going- to make a career out of reclamation, and help make a reality of a great dream." Speaking on world affairs Mr, Clegg said, "If we are to survive as a nation, we will have to stay strong from within. We will have to practice some Spartan economy in our domestic domes-tic affairs, in order that we may be prepared to meet the Communist threat from without." |
