Show Boys Softball About 15 boys are now practicing prac-ticing and playing softball Monday, Mon-day, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a. m., according to Athletic Director Bob Andrews. Coach Andrews says that if more boys would respond, all could be divided according to size and ability into competitive teams. He urges all boys 14 and under to report for play. Horse shoe courts have been constructed under the lights west of the tennis courts. Shoes are available, and a tournament will be held later, probably during dur-ing the U.B.I.C. celebration. Croquet also will be added to the city recreation, department's depart-ment's expanding list of sports activities. |
