Show Funeral Services Held Here for Glenn Alleman Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the Second-Eighth Second-Eighth ward chapel for J. Glenn Alleman, 61, a former resident and school teacher of Springville, who died unexpectedly Thursday of last week of a heart attack at his home in Berkeley, Calif. Burial was in the Springville city cemetery under direction of Claudin Funeral home. Mr. Alleman was born in this city May 17, 1892, a son of Daniel J. and Elizabeth Starr Alleman. He graduated from the Springville high school and the USAC at Logan. Lo-gan. He taught school in Springville and later at the LDS Business college col-lege in Salt Lake City. At the time of his death he was employed as an accountant with the Oliver J. Olson shipbiulding firm in San Francisco and was previously pre-viously employed in accountant work by the U. S. government in California. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Merl Reid Alleman, whom he married mar-ried in the Salt Lake LDS temple, one brother, William S. Alleman of Springville and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie A. Whitney of Springville and Mrs. Lela A. Thomas of Salt Lake City. |
