There are please remember and keep in your head Two kinds of pedestrians the quick and the dead! Mother of Local Man Died Tues. in Provo Mrs. Harriet Dunn Carter, 86, mother of W. E. Dunn of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, died Tuesday night, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.. Charles Char-les P. (Josie) Johnson in Provo. Mrs. Dunn had spent considerable consider-able time in Springville with her son and had many friends here. She was bom in Fountain Green, April 20, 1867, and spent her youth in that community and in Santaquin. She was married to Wm. Dunn in 1890 and they lived in Eureka 25 years, later moving to Provo. Mr. Dunn died in 1917 and she was married to Fred Carter at Springville in 1919. He died in 1926. She was an active member of the LDS church holding positions in the various organizations. Survivors include one son, W. E. Dunn. Springville; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Charles F. (Josie) Johnson, John-son, Provo and Mrs. Harry (Fern) Sherwood, Burbank, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great, grandchildren grand-children and one great great grandchild and four sisters. Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted Friday at 1:30 p.m., in the Valley Mortuary chapel. Friends may call at the Mortuary Thursday Thurs-day from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday before the services. Burial will be in the Santaquin cemetery. |
