The lodges are sponsoring- an essay contest on "What the U.N. Means to Me," or an allied subject sub-ject and are inviting Springville sophomore and junior students to participate, thus extending the" annual United Nations Pilgrimage prosram to the neighboring cUy high school. b y The Odd Fellows in the United States have sent a total of 1200 students to the U.N. in the past five years. The' Odd Fellows held the contest con-test in the Provo high school only last year and this year decided to extend it to students in Springville, Spring-ville, the Lincoln high school at Orem, and the BY high school. Through the contest program, the Odd Fellows hope to help the youth of the nation become better acquainted ac-quainted iwlh the work of the UN. An invitation is extended to the Springville groups and organizations organiza-tions to have the winner of last year's contest, Miss Alaire Buttle of Provo, speak at varous meetings. meet-ings.
