Show Civic Club Meets Jaycees A $5 prize is being offered for the best costume at the Jaycees Hallowe'en party Saturday evening, even-ing, October 24, at 8 p.m., at the Fire Hall, officers announce. There will also be fun games, lunch, soft drinks and dancing and members may bring their friends. Kiwanis Club County Commissioner Sterling Jones will be the speaker at the Kiwanis club meeting this evening discussing the problems confronting confront-ing the county. G. Ray Hales is toastmaster. Club officers announce the names of members nominated for club positions as follows, the election elec-tion to be held November 5:, For president, Wm. Gogarty, Glen W. Sumsion; for vice-president, Perry Goodliffe, Ray Hales; for directors, direc-tors, seven to be elected, Reese Anderson, Maurice Bird, Vernon Cook, Oliver Dalton, Berton Groes-beck, Groes-beck, Jackson Howard, Howard Maycock, Stan Nielson, Finley Roylance, Harvey Robbins, Francis Fran-cis Rowe, Merle Sargent, Erwin Sheffield, Verl Whiting, Robert Winston. Lions Club The Lions club has canceled their meeting this week, announcing announc-ing the next meeting to be on November 12. 20-30 Club A business meeting is planned for this evening at 7:30 p.m., at Memorial Hall.
