qUaDTes Little Known Facts The largest, loudest musical musi-cal instrument ever built, the Auditorium Organ in Atlantic City, N.J., has two consoles, 1,477 stop controls, con-trols, 33,112 pipes ranging in tone from 316 of an inch to the 64-foot tone, and 365 horsepower blower motors. Completed in 1935 at a cost of $500,000, it has the volume of 25 brass bands.
