Uintah County Sheriff office w notified by officers in Oklahoma of the possibility of stolen saddles and taek being transported to Utah for sale The office obtained a search warra for the Poole residence and located one saddle and some tack. P00le J arrested and was released Tuesdav S $2500 bail. y on A Fish and Game jeep wagoneer was totaled and a dog injured in an accident 8-31-79. According to the police report the driver David W. Olsen, 10-9-51 of 229 West Main lost control of the vehicle h was driving north on U44. The vehicle ran off the road came back skidded un the road several feet, then rolled over coming to rest on its wheels facing east The wagoneer then rolled backwards about 50 feet coming to rest in a pile 0f boulders. Olsen was uninjured no citations were issued. Several citations have been issued for speed, one no headlights, expired in-spections, in-spections, and investigation made into mail box damage report. Ruben Pitt was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive and for displaying the wrong plates on his vehicle. Jake Pitt was cited for no drivers license. Three juveniles were arrested for illegal consumption and one for reckless driving. Investigation was also made into a gun being discharged from a vehicle in the Davis Ward area DUI arrests were David B. Smith Duane Ellifritz, Rita McNac, Janet Cuch (also no drivers license). Gerald Ingmire was arrested in Tucson Arizona and released to return to Vernal on bad check charges. He was tried in Circuit court. Disposition of the case is unknown at this time. Officers have investigated several civil problems during the week and several theft reports. A seven-year-old boy was injured Monday when he was accidentally shot in the eye with an air gun.
