Show Home Culture Club Hears of Holy Land Home Culture club members were taken on a tour of the Holy Lands with colored slides shown and experiences related by Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Ivory of Spanish Fork, when the group met Friday at the home of Mrs. Arthur Condie. The Ivorys with their three young sons spent two years in Baruth, Lebanon, Mr. Ivory being sent by the government on the Point-4 program as a poultry expert. ex-pert. Mrs. Ivory taught school during dur-ing the time in a government grade school. They visited many places of historical interest in Biblical times and also toured Europe on their return. Mrs. Ivory exhibited many beautiful souvenirs they brought on their return. Mrs. Maurice Bird favored with a piano solo, "Clare DeLune," and the club voted to contribute to the Child Guidance fund. Luncheon was served at the conclusion con-clusion of the meeting to members mem-bers and guests, the latter including includ-ing the Ivorys and Mrs. C. F. Packard and Mrs. Lyman Mellor. |
