Jeune Mere Club Group Begins Year's Program Jeune Mere club members . began be-gan the year's program with a social, program and luncheon, Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Audrey Ford, where Rowena Di Fiore of Payson gave the program. pro-gram. Elaborating on the background and reasons for writing certain songs, the guest speaker gave the story of operettas and various other musical compositions and sang several numbers accompanying accompany-ing herself on the piano. Gifts from the club were presented pre-sented the retiring officers, Naomi Thorn, Elaine Rowe, Beth Jensen and Fay Haymond. Mrs. Amy Klauck, club president presi-dent welcomed the club and conducted con-ducted short business asking Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Marie Whiting to introduce the club program and explain the books. The project prize was won by Mrs. Norma Canto and a nicely arranged lunch was served by the hostess.
