Show Former Resident Dies in SLC; Burial Held Here A number of Springville relatives rela-tives were in Salt Lake City . on Wednesday to attend the funeral services for James Eugene (Gene) Hoyle, 64, a former resident of Springville who died Sunday of a lingering illness at the family residence, 655 Bryan Ave., Salt Lake. Burial was in the Springville Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Hoyle was bom in Para-gonah, Para-gonah, Dec. 16, 1891, to Benjamin and Jane Hanks Hoyle and spent his early life in the southern part f the state, later being employed in the Northwest. For a number of years he managed man-aged the Bonneville Lumber Co. in Springville when it was located loca-ted on the corner of Fourth South jnd Main. He worked with Lum-w Lum-w companies later in Provo, Tooele Too-ele and in Idaho. At the time of his death, he was cost accountant f Tri-State Lumber Co. in Salt wke and man of the month by the company magazine a short time ago. He married Nettie Brown of Springville in Paris, Ida. June 3, 1931 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Tem-P'e. Tem-P'e. He was active in LDS church Wo until his illness holding the off'ce of High Priest. Surviving besides his wife are ' sons, Jack Hoyle of Salt Lake TLlty; Blaine Hoyle, Idaho Falls, J?a-: Mrs. Grant B. (Connie) ayburn of Huston, Texas; also nv grandchildren. |
