Show Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Mothers Cited At Ward Program A Mother's Day program was presented Sunday morning under un-der the supervision of the su-perintendency su-perintendency of Sunday School with Miss Myrtle Collins in charge. The program was as follows: poems by Jeanne White, Luanne Ross, Johnny Gardner and Philip Johnson; song by Junior Sunday School Miss Collins was the reader; a demonstration of love for mother moth-er was given by Mrs. Beatrice Lundberg's class; Miss Deanne Asay sang a solo; Norma Ras-mussen Ras-mussen gave a talk, "Every Day a Mother's Day;" solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," by Allen Gines. Miss Patsy Gines accompanied all musical numbers. A tribute to Mothers was given by Bishop Golden Collins, and a talk by Supt. Marvin Kettle. Potted plants were given to some fifty mothers who were present. Mrs. Mary Collins was the oldest mother present. Mrs. Boyd Winn was in the Roosevelt Hospital last week receiving medical care. Sunday School Faculty meeting meet-ing was held at the Leland Angus An-gus home on Wednesday evening, eve-ning, May 5, with fourteen officers of-ficers and teachers present. Leland Le-land Angus presented the Faculty Fac-ulty lesson. The Bruce Timothy family, from Salt Lake City, were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Rasmussen recently. Mrs. Lawrence Brighton and Mrs. Earl Gardner motored to Salt Lake City one day last week. |
